In a gesture of goodwill and solidarity, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the APC gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended a helping hand to the Muslim community in the state. 

Senator Monday Okpebholo presented several bags of rice and cartons of Indomie noodles to the Muslim community in Edo Central Senatorial District ahead of the Eid al-Fitr celebrations coming up on the 10th of April 

The donation, it was gathered, aimed at supporting the Muslim faithful during the festive period, reflects Senator Okpebholo's commitment to fostering unity and inclusivity within the diverse communities of Edo State. 

Acknowledging the significance of Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, Senator Okpebholo expressed his desire to ensure that every member of the community can partake in the joyous occasion without financial constraints.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Senator reiterated his dedication to serving the people of Edo State, irrespective of religious affiliations, and emphasized the importance of compassion and solidarity in building a stronger and more cohesive Edo.

The gesture has been warmly received by members of the Muslim community, who expressed gratitude for the timely support provided by Senator Okpebholo and they vow to keep supporting the Senator with their prayers.

The donation they said will alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by families during the festive period, allowing them to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with greater comfort and joy.

Meanwhile Senator Okpebholo's philanthropic gesture has echoed around the State as it underscores the spirit of generosity and unity that transcends religious and political divides, resonating communal harmony and mutual respect cherished by Edo people.
