 HON. OYAKHILOME BELLO CELEBRATES EDO STATE AT 35 A LEGACY OF GREATNESS, UNITY AND RENEWED HOPE

The APC-USA National Youth Leader, Hon. Oyakhilome Bello, warmly felicitates with the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the government and the good people of Edo State as the state marks its historic 35th anniversary.

Created on 27 August 1991 from the former Bendel State, Edo has grown into a proud symbol of history, culture, resilience and excellence. Rightly known as the Heartbeat of the Nation, Edo State occupies a special place in Nigeria's story, with its people making remarkable contributions to national development and distinguishing themselves across the world through courage, enterprise and excellence.

As we celebrate Edo @35, we honour our heritage, salute the sacrifices of our founding fathers and celebrate the resilient people of Edo State at home and in the diaspora, whose strength, creativity and determination continue to bring honour to our dear state.

This anniversary also provides an opportunity to commend the purposeful leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo, whose administration is demonstrating a renewed commitment to infrastructure, development and visible progress. His bold drive to open up communities and deliver landmark projects, including the historic flyover construction, reflects a leadership driven by impact, vision and the determination to build a stronger and more prosperous Edo State.

I urge the good people of Edo State to remain united and steadfast in supporting the SHINE Agenda of Governor Monday Okpebholo, while continuing to believe in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Together, with unity, patience and purposeful leadership, greater milestones lie ahead for Edo State and Nigeria.

At 35, Edo stands not only as a testament to how far we have come, but as a powerful reminder of the greatness that lies ahead. Our heritage is strong, our people are resilient, and our future is bright.
