The APC-USA National Youth Leader, Hon. Oyakhilome Bello, recently participated in the prestigious Nigeria-Canada Summit on Digital Rails and Inclusive Growth at the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre in Toronto, Canada.

 APC-USA NATIONAL YOUTH LEADER, HON. OYAKHILOME BELLO, JOINS GLOBAL LEADERS AT NIGERIA-CANADA SUMMIT ON DIGITAL RAILS AND INCLUSIVE GROWTH

The APC-USA National Youth Leader, Hon. Oyakhilome Bello, recently participated in the prestigious Nigeria-Canada Summit on Digital Rails and Inclusive Growth at the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre in Toronto, Canada.

The summit brought together political leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, technology experts, development partners and members of the Nigerian diaspora to explore opportunities in investment, digital transformation, technology transfer, trade, job creation and inclusive economic growth.

The engagement is significant to Nigeria as it provides an avenue to attract foreign investment, expand the digital economy, develop human capital, create employment and showcase Nigeria's vast opportunities in agriculture, solid minerals, technology, manufacturing, renewable energy, financial services and other sectors.

A distinguished participant at the summit was His Excellency, Dr. Dauda Lawal, Executive Governor of Zamfara State, whose engagement focused on strengthening economic cooperation and attracting investment, technology transfer and development partnerships, particularly in agribusiness, strategic minerals, human capital development and digital innovation.

Also represented was His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, Executive Governor of Kaduna State, further demonstrating the commitment of Nigerian state governments to international partnerships, investment promotion, digital transformation and sustainable development.

The summit also attracted prominent Nigerian diaspora stakeholders, including Prince Ade Omole, former Director of the Diaspora Directorate of the 2023 Presidential  Campaign council  and Dr.Nurudeen Zauro Special Adviser to the President on Economic and Inclusion, whose participation further highlighted the important role of the Nigerian diaspora in promoting Nigeria's interests and connecting the country to global opportunities.

For Nigeria, stronger Nigeria-Canada relations can bring increased investment, expanded trade, technology partnerships, skills transfer, employment opportunities, digital development and access to international markets. For Canada, deeper engagement with Nigeria provides access to one of Africa's largest markets, a vibrant entrepreneurial population and enormous investment opportunities.

The participation of Hon. Oyakhilome Bello is particularly commendable. As APC-USA National Youth Leader, his presence reflects the growing role of Nigerian youths and the diaspora in shaping the country's economic and technological future.
