Earlier today,  The APC-USA National Youth leader Hon. Oyakhilome Bello joined the Director-General of the Energy Commission, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi and the Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo at a groundbreaking ceremony.

 The event marked the beginning of the Barefoot Renewable Energy College at the Confluence State University of Science and Technology, Osara Kogi State.





The ceremony was also attended by the Honourable Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology Chief Uche Nnaji as well as the Directors-General under the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology.

 This gathering of key stakeholders highlights the importance of the Barefoot Renewable Energy College in promoting sustainable energy solutions.

The establishment of the college is a significant milestone in Nigeria's journey towards transitioning to renewable energy sources. It is expected to play a crucial role in addressing the energy manpower gap and empowering communities through education and training.
