Hon. Oyakhilome Bello, the APC-USA National Youth Leader, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, following his well-deserved recognition as Swan Governor of the Year.

In his congratulatory message, Hon. Bello described Senator Okpebholo’s emergence for the prestigious award as a strong affirmation that leadership anchored on competence, inclusiveness, and compassion cannot go unnoticed. According to him, the honour reflects a governor who came into office prepared, focused, and determined to restore hope, rebuild trust, and place Edo on the path of progressive governance.

He emphasized that the award is not accidental, but a product of visible achievements since the governor assumed office a leadership defined by policy clarity, people-oriented decisions, financial discipline, and a renewed sense of partnership between government and citizens.

Hon. Bello further highlighted that Senator Okpebholo’s hands-on leadership style, responsiveness to the needs of Edo people, and unwavering loyalty to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda have continued to reposition Edo State as a reference point for democratic governance. He noted that the state is gradually becoming a model for infrastructural renewal, economic expansion, agricultural revival, and youth participation in governance.
