The family of Dr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani, SAN, will converge at Awomukwu Village, Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, as they prepare to lay to rest their beloved mother, Mrs. Nsomma Gladys Ubani, who passed on peacefully in February 2025 at the age of 90.

The nonagenarian, fondly remembered as a virtuous woman, devoted Christian, and community pillar, lived a life marked by humility, generosity, and unwavering faith. Her funeral has been scheduled for Saturday, December 27, 2025, at her hometown, Awomukwu Village in Ikwuano LGA, Abia State.

Dr. Ubani described his late mother as “a woman of exceptional grace and character, whose love, wisdom, and devotion to God inspired everyone who knew her.” He stated that her life story was one of service to God, her family, and her community leaving behind a legacy that will endure through generations.

In the spirit of gratitude and celebration, Dr. Ubani extended an open invitation to friends, professional colleagues, associates, and well-wishers to join the family in honoring and celebrating a life well spent.

This is not a moment of sorrow, but a thanksgiving to God for granting our mother a beautiful and fulfilled life,” Dr. Ubani noted.

The Ubani family appreciates the prayers, support, and condolences received so far, as preparations continue toward giving their beloved matriarch a befitting farewell.
