Hon. Chidire Valentine Etonyeaku paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, alongside the Chairman of the Labour Party in Abia State,Hon  Peter Azubuike

The visit comes amid growing speculation that Hon. Chidire Valentine Etonyeaku, who recently resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC), is set to officially defect to the Labour Party in the near future.

During the courtesy visit, Hon. Chidire Valentine Etonyeaku expressed his deep appreciation to Governor Alex Otti for what he described as the remarkable transformation taking place across Abia State under his administration.

According to Etonyeaku, Governor Otti's commitment to good governance, transparency, infrastructure development, improved healthcare, education reforms, and economic revitalization has restored hope among the people of Abia and earned the state national and international recognition.

He noted that Governor Alex Otti's outstanding performance has placed Abia on the map of the world, attracting positive attention and renewed confidence from investors, development partners, and Nigerians across the country.

Hon. Etonyeaku commended the Governor's visionary leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy. He described Governor Otti as a leader whose achievements continue to inspire confidence and unite the people around a shared vision for a greater Abia.

Political observers believe the visit further fuels reports that Hon. Chidire Valentine Etonyeaku may soon officially join the Labour Party, although no formal announcement has yet been made.
