WOMEN IN CHRIST HOLDS SPIRIT-FILLED MONTHLY VIGIL, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO PRAYERS FOR EDO STATE AND NIGERIA

The Office of the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Edo State on Women in Christ has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to seeking God's divine intervention for Edo State and Nigeria through the successful hosting of its monthly vigil.

The gathering brought together women from different Christian denominations in an atmosphere of heartfelt worship, fervent prayers, and thanksgiving. United in one accord, participants interceded for the peace, security, unity, and continued development of Edo State, while committing the administration of His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and the nation into God's hands.

Speaking during the vigil, the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Edo State on Women in Christ, Pastor Courage Iziegbe Aburime-Walter, charged believers to remain steadfast in prayer, stressing that prayer remains the greatest spiritual weapon in confronting the forces of darkness and securing God's mercy over the land.

She noted that whenever the people of God gather in sincere and united prayer, the kingdom of darkness is put to flight, lives are transformed, and God's healing, peace, and restoration are released upon the land. Quoting 2 Chronicles 7:14, she reminded the congregation that God has promised to hear from heaven, forgive the sins of His people, and heal their land whenever they humble themselves and seek His face.

Pastor Courage Iziegbe Aburime-Walter further reaffirmed that the monthly vigil is a divine platform for raising women of faith who will continually stand in the gap for families, the Church, the government, and the nation. She emphasized that the Office of Women in Christ remains committed to complementing the SHINE Agenda of the Edo State Government through consistent intercession, spiritual enlightenment, and the promotion of godly values that inspire peace, unity, and sustainable development.

The Office of the Special Adviser expressed appreciation to ministers of the Gospel, Christian leaders, and all participants whose unwavering commitment continues to strengthen the vision of Women in Christ as a platform for spiritual revival and kingdom advancement.

The monthly vigil concluded with renewed hope and confidence that God is continually at work in Edo State and Nigeria. Participants departed strengthened in faith, convinced that as the people of God remain faithful in prayer, the Lord will continue to heal the land, establish peace, and grant lasting progress.
