APC-USA NATIONAL YOUTH LEADER, HON. BELLO OYAKHILOME, CALLS FOR PVC COLLECTION, GRASSROOTS MOBILISATION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Dear Council Chairmen, Elected and Appointed Public Office Holders, and Political Stakeholders in Edo State,

As the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) commences across Edo State, there is an urgent need for political stakeholders, community leaders, and public office holders to intensify grassroots mobilisation and public awareness to ensure that all eligible voters collect their PVCs within the stipulated period.

PVC collection should not be treated as an ordinary administrative exercise. It is a vital step towards strengthening democratic participation and ensuring that citizens can exercise their constitutional right to vote.

Stakeholders should therefore intensify community sensitisation campaigns, engage market associations, youth organisations, student bodies, professional groups, religious institutions, and other community-based organisations to encourage eligible citizens to participate in the electoral process.

Furthermore, collection centres should be accessible, properly organised, and welcoming. Relevant authorities should also work to identify and address challenges that could discourage eligible voters from collecting their cards, in accordance with electoral laws and guidelines.

Electoral participation begins long before election day. It starts with awareness, continues with PVC collection, and culminates in the exercise of the people's right to vote.

As members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), we must demonstrate commitment, responsibility, and effective grassroots engagement in promoting democratic participation.

Our PVCs represent our democratic voice and our opportunity to support the candidates and policies we believe will advance Nigeria's development.

We therefore encourage eligible voters across Edo State to collect their PVCs and participate actively in the electoral process. Through lawful mobilisation and sustained public engagement, we can strengthen our democracy and encourage greater voter participation.

OUR PVC, OUR VOICE, OUR FUTURE!

Our political aspiration is to mobilise support for the re-election of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, while acknowledging the achievements attributed to the administration of His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, in Edo State.

With sustained grassroots engagement and lawful mobilisation, our target of 2.5 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu represents an ambitious political mobilisation goal.

The time to mobilise is now. Every eligible voter matters, every PVC counts, and every vote is an expression of democratic choice.
