Foundation recommits to educational support for less- privileged Pupils in the Country



It was an exciting special moment for the Pupils of Wesley LGEA school in Ojoku-Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State, who  received educational materials support from the Oyakhilome Bello Foundation


The Foundation,  on Monday, provided free educational material support for the pupils of Wesley Primary School in Kwara State.


Speaking at the distribution of the educational items for the pupils, the National Coordinator of the Foundation, Hon. Olaniyi Ilori implored the pupils to always be of good moral behavior,  be diligent, and remain good citizens by shunning social vices and also give their studies the utmost priority needed to excel in their academic pursuit.


He added that education is the bedrock for the nation's development and the reason why the  Oyakhilome Bello Foundation is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the sector continues to have the massive support needed to thrive in its mandate of making education work in the Country.


According to him,  Oyakhilome Bello Foundation, a non-governmental organization is known for its humanitarian and poverty alleviation support programs and has embarked on numerous programs such as various free healthcare missions, food support programs for the less-privileged, and empowerment via training in different skill acquisition programs and financial support for the people with education also gaining the needed attention of the foundation transversing the length and breadth of the nation.


"Today, we are here to fulfill our core mission, which is to keep touching lives according to the vision of our Founder, Hon. Oyakhilome Bello


"We are providing Free Writing material for all the pupils of this school which is the essence of our visit to the school  today"


He added that the essence of the distribution of the books for the students is to support their parents and guardians, especially during the prevailing economic crisis in the Country with the reality that the government alone can't do everything and hence the need for the foundation stepping in to provide support at this crucial time.


Reacting to the gesture, Mrs.Islamiyat Owoyale appreciated the  Oyakhilome Bello Foundation for its educational support for the pupils which she described as a worthy and noble investment in the life of the pupils.


She said that the foundation's education support program is a huge investment that must be given the commendation needed taking into cognizance of her track record in service to humanity.


Speaking on behalf of the students,  Ahmed Owolabi,  a student of  Primary 5,  thanked the foundation for the writing material given to them the current economic situation has made books very expensive now and the kind gesture means so much to them.


While in the same direction, Rasheed Olaiya of Primary 6  expressed her profound gratitude and commended the foundation for its relentless support for educational advancement across the country.



The State Coordinator, Com. Adeagbo Lawal Babatunde,  could not hide his excitement for the joy well written over the faces of the pupils reiterated the commitment of the foundation to keep touching lives via educational support projects and other humanitarian services that the group will continue to embark on in deepening service to humanity towards making the world a better place.
